Lacock Abbey

Founded in 13thC and dissolved in c1539 since when it has been the home of the Talbot family. Medieval cloisters and 18thC Gothick hall. Sixteenth-century stable court. Home of William Henry Fox talbot 19thC inventor of the photographic negative. Lacock village and Abbey used as a location in TV and film productions of Pride and Prejudice, Moll Flanders, Emma and Harry Potter films.
